Welcome to our tumbling program! We offer classes designed to help cheerleaders of all skill levels develop strong foundational skills and progress safely. Our experienced coaches focus on proper technique, body control, and confidence, helping athletes achieve their goals.

Foundations of Tumbling
Saturdays 10:00 am
This class is perfect for brand-new cheerleaders or anyone who wants to learn the basics of tumbling.
We focus on building a strong foundation with exercises that develop core strength, flexibility, and coordination. Athletes will learn fundamental skills like forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and bridges.
This class is all about having fun while building the skills needed for more advanced tumbling.
Beginner Tumbling Class
Saturdays 11:30am
Ready to take your tumbling to the next level? Our Level 1 class builds on the basics learned in Intro to Cheer.
Athletes will refine their handstand and cartwheel technique while being introduced to more complex skills like round-offs , power hurdles, front/back walk-overs and valdez.
The focus is on linking skills together and preparing athletes for more advanced tumbling passes
Prerequisite : Foundations
Hand Springs Tumbling Class
Saturdays 1:00pm
This class is for athletes who have mastered their Level 1.5 skills and are ready to tackle more advanced tumbling.
We focus on back handsprings—both standing and with connections—and round-off back handsprings. Athletes will also be introduced to front handsprings.
Coaches will emphasize form and technique to ensure athletes can perform these skills safely and with power.
Prerequisite : Beginner
Intermediate Tumbling Class
This class is for athletes who have mastered their hand spring skills and are ready to tackle more advanced tumbling.
We focus on series hand springs , aerials, punch fronts and tucks.
Coaches will emphasize form and technique to ensure athletes can perform these skills safely and with power.
Prerequisite : Hand Springs
Advanced Tumbling Class
Layouts - Fulls
Athletes will reinforce what they learned in intermediate class and start to work on standing tucks, punch front step outs, hip drive, candlestick drills, layouts, and fulls..
Athletes proficient in layouts will move on to work on twisting drills, core/oblique strengthening, whips, arabians, and going through progressions for fulls/doubles.
Prerequisite : Intermediate
Beginner Tumbling Demo
- Forward and Backward Rolls: A smooth, log-like roll or a back-to-front motion.
- Cartwheels: A sideways, star-like movement.
- Handstands: Standing upright on the hands.
- Roundoffs: A skill that starts with a cartwheel motion, but with a jump and rotation to end facing the same direction as it started.
- Front and Back Walkovers: Skills that involve kicking a leg up and arching the back to go over into a lunge or bridge position.
- Foundation Building: These skills are the building blocks for all future tumbling and cheerleading.
- Precision and Control: Demonstrations emphasize perfect execution and control over each movement.
- Safety: Proper technique is paramount to ensure safety and prevent injuries.
- Progressive Development: Mastering Level 1 skills is essential before moving on to more complex techniques like back handsprings.

Foundation in Level 1:Athletes will demonstrate a solid understanding of basic Level 1 skills, such as forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, and round-offs.
- Standing Back Handspring: Performing a back handspring without a running start.
- Front Handspring: A forward-moving tumbling skill.
- Running Back Handspring Series: A series of one or more back handsprings.
- Connected Level 1 Tumbling: Skills like cartwheels or round-offs can be connected to a back handspring.
Stunts- Prep Level Single-Leg Stunts: One-legged stunts performed at a prep (preparation) position.
- Extended Two-Footed Stunts: Stunts where the flyer is elevated from a two-footed prep, extending their body.
- Half-Twisting Stunts: A stunt that incorporates a half twist.
Jumps- Toe Touch/Pike Jumps: Basic jumps that are a fundamental part of Level 2 routines.
- Standing Back Handspring: Performing a back handspring without a running start.
